This month we spoke to Erin Grimes, Admin Junior at The Accountancy Partnership!

Give an overview of the duties, functions and responsibilities of your job.

My job role consists of answering client queries over calls and emails, requesting agent authorisation, processing codes, calling clients to help them with the onboarding process, reassignments, and some payroll duties.

What is a typical working day like for you?

Each day is different at TAP, but I usually start by checking our Junior Calendar to see which jobs need to be done that day, and will answer my emails, call clients, and complete any tasks that I have been asked to do.

What is your favourite part of the job?

The people. Admin in particular, as our team is very warm and welcoming, and full of so many lovely people.

What do you like most about working for The Accountancy Partnership?

Again, the people, and the staff nights out. They are a good way to get each department together.

What skills do you find most useful to do your job?

I’m a very chatty person, which makes it easy for me to talk to clients and give them a more personal experience.

Where’s your favourite place to visit on days off?

On my days off, I like to take my dog to the beach, or go to the pub.

What’s your proudest achievement?

Studying my part time Business Studies and Finance degree whilst working at TAP full time (haven’t finished yet, but only got 2 years out of 6 left!)

How would your colleagues describe you?

The admin girlies described me as bubbly, a chatterbox, heart of gold, outgoing, and a ray of sunshine 😊

What are you reading/binge watching at the moment?

I’m currently binge-watching Criminal Minds with my sister, we are hooked!

Who do you admire, and why?

I admire my Mum. She had me at 21 and we have grown up together. She is my best friend <3

What question would you really like to answer, and what’s the answer?!

Controversial – but which band is better, Oasis or Blur? Of course, Blur (Alexa, play Song 2 by Blur on Spotify)
