Callum from The Accountancy Partnership recently filed my year-end accounts and made the whole process really straightforward. Callum was excellent throughout - clear, helpful and efficient, and he made everything feel simple from start to finish. A very smooth experience and I’d happily recommend him to anyone looking for reliable accountancy support.
Ben Chetham
As a first-year sole trader, I was a little unsure about the accounting side of things, but James has been incredibly helpful throughout the whole process. He is very knowledgeable, patient, and took the time to guide me through everything, making it much less stressful than I expected.
Hayley Crean
Kieran McCann provided outstanding support in helping me file my corporation tax return within an extremely tight timeframe. The last-minute situation was entirely my own fault, but Kieran remained calm, professional, and incredibly responsive throughout the process. Thanks to his efficiency and dedication, we managed to meet the deadline and avoid what would likely have been a fine. He was always responsible, supportive, and available whenever I needed guidance.

Every partnership is different so the type of accountancy support you look for might vary, although the business will normally submit a Partnership Tax Return to HMRC. It’s why your package includes the partnership’s tax return as standard!
The partnership won’t pay tax itself though. Instead, each partner declares their share of the profits on their own return. Some partners prefer to make their own arrangements, so we don’t automatically include this in case it’s not something you need. You can add Self Assessment tax returns for £10.00 + VAT per month for each partner when you get an instant quote.
Switching from another accountant?
The process of switching your partnership’s tax affairs from one accountant to another won’t be stressful if you have the right support in place. If you’re moving to us from another provider, we’ll take care of the entire transition from start to finish.
We’ll contact your previous accountant to request the information and documents we need (a process known as professional clearance), and let HMRC know that we’re now acting on your behalf. All you have to do is get settled in with your new accountant!
Additional Services
Add or remove other services as and when they’re needed, such as bookkeeping, Self Assessment for individual partners, or VAT returns. These are all available for low monthly fees.
Self Assessment
Add Self Assessment for an extra £10.00 per month for the first 2 x partners.
VAT Returns
Everything your partnership needs for VAT registration and submissions.
Bookkeeping
Flexible bookkeeping services from your own dedicated bookkeeper.
Payroll
A complete managed payroll and workplace pensions service.

FAQs
Partnership FAQs
Like most businesses, partnerships can offset any expenses against the income they earn. The partnership won’t pay tax as an entity though, so these profits are shared amongst the partners based on any agreement they might have come to. It’s then up to the partners to pay tax on their share of the profits.
Not at all! We provide Pandle Pro for all our clients, but it’s not mandatory and we will work with you on any accounts software you prefer to use. If you do decide to use Pandle, our bookkeepers will check your records to make sure everything looks accurate. This is included as standard, even if you’re not subscribed to our bookkeeping service.
The partnership must submit a Partnership Tax Return to HMRC by 31st January each year. For example, if it needs to submit for the 6th April 2025 - 5th April 2026 tax year, the deadline to send an online return is 31st January 2027. You’ll have a personalised timeline of all your essential tax reporting dates in your Client Hub account, and we’ll send reminders about any upcoming deadlines well in advance.
This depends on how they’re structured. A partner might be an individual person and so submit a Self Assessment tax return, but the partner could also be a limited company, or even another partnership! We explain how partnership tax works in more detail in a separate article.
