Hey Alex! Tell us about your business

What drove you to start your business?

I’ve always wanted to run my own business and to use my expertise to help other business owners succeed. Having worked in marketing and branding for the last 15 years, it was the right moment to harness all of my experience and share it with a much wider audience.

What particular challenges did you have to overcome in setting up your business, and since then?

Accounting! Numbers have never really been a strong point, nor having a detailed understanding of tax. This was something I always knew I’d be outsourcing.

Aside from that, making sure my business offering was viable and offered value to my clients. It was really important to articulate this very clearly so I spent a good amount of time getting inside the core of my offering and translating that in a way that would resonate with my audience.

They had very clear messaging and it was easy from my initial research to understand what they offered. I was looking for more than just automated software, I wanted real people I could talk to and take advice from. I also found the cost very reasonable.

What do you have planned for your business in future?

For the future, I’m focused on growing my business and working with more clients across the UK and internationally.
