We’ve come to the end of our clients of the month for 2017, which means there’s just one thing left to do – choose a client of the year!

We’re thrilled to announce that our client of the year is none other than MuLondon, the skincare company focused on reducing their carbon footprint and delivering all-natural and ethical products that care for both your skin and the environment.

We caught up with MuLondon’s founder, Boris, to see what he’s been up to since we spoke to him back in April and what his plans are for 2018.

What have you been up to since we last caught up with you?

We’ve been busy whipping up our award-winning products for existing and new customers around the globe! MuLondon moisturisers and cleansers are now stocked in even more countries than before.

Recently we sent a wholesale order to Réunion Island, a French territory in the Indian Ocean – we’d love to go there one day!

In addition to our existing range of certifications and organisations that we support, we’re thrilled to add Stonewall, the largest LGBT rights organisation in Europe, to the list. MuLondon is proud to support Stonewall’s work campaigning for equality for LGBT people everywhere.

Remind us of the importance of ethics behind your skincare range

The idea behind MuLondon is two-fold: create a mild and effective skin care range for sensitive skin, and have a positive impact on our planet and our society. We love making products based on simple, natural ingredients – without the use of fillers, additives and harsh chemicals.

We support organic agriculture and only use certified organic ingredients, where possible. It’s important that our products are made without any animal ingredients or testing. However, we also want to give back, which is why we donate 1% of all sales to 1% for the Planet. We are fervent about equality, sustainability and compassion for all.

What achievements are you most proud of in 2017?

2017 has been an eventful and exciting year for us. MuLondon was relaunched with a brand new look and a number of new certifications, including The Soil Association and B Corporation. This was something we had been working on for quite a while and it was brilliant to see it materialise.

We have also launched a brand new range of accessories in 100% organic cotton. You can be stylish & sustainable with your MuLondon cosmetic bag or tote bag, which are both produced ethically and sustainably.

What would you say to start ups thinking of joining up with TAP in the New Year?

Do it – and do it now! It’s such a huge help having access to an accountant when you need them.

Running a business, tax-related questions come up all the time, and this takes the guesswork out of it. We love Lisa, our dedicated accountant at TAP! We also get timely reminders when it’s time to submit our tax and VAT returns, which is very useful.

One less thing to worry about!

What are your plans for 2018?

I can’t reveal much, but we’ve got quite a few interesting things coming up, starting right after the holidays. We’re looking at expanding the MuLondon range with new products and being stocked in even more countries.

We want to say a huge thank you to all our clients who were chosen for client of the month in 2017, and we wish each and every one of our clients the best of look in the New Year!
