Tell us about your business

As a personal travel expert, Not Just Travel  provides a bespoke tailored service to anyone wanting to go on holiday. This might include basic package holidays in UK and abroad, through to weddings and honeymoons, groups or tailor made itineraries for safaris, treks, sports, and more!

What drove you to start the business?

Really, I guess a personal passion for all things travel, borne from 12 years at sea as an Officer with the Royal Navy. I realised that my role was changing and the opportunity to find the adventure, relaxation, and inspiration that drove me to join the services was now dwindling.

I really wanted to start a business in which I could get people to enjoy the same feeling I get when travelling. Noticing that spending hours online trawling for the best deal to somewhere that sounded OK, rarely got me the feelings I hope for. I soon realised how personal travel really is.

For this reason, I wanted to start my business on the foundation of getting my customer the feeling they are after. I needed to know my customers to find the best possible holiday for their situation and desires.

Why did you choose The Accountancy Partnership?

The Accountancy Partnership provides me with exactly what I was after; a flexible approach that is predominantly online. I’m not really one for stuffy offices full of company partners. I really like the fact that I can just drop an email, or make a call to get things sorted. No worrying about driving and parking (a little bit of an issue here in Southsea!). The included Pandle software is very good and straightforward to use, and is a great bonus!

Would you recommend The Accountancy Partnership?

I would recommend to anyone looking for accountancy services, regardless of how big or small your business is!

What do you have planned for your business in the future?

I hope to continue growing my business, and eventually take on a few motivated team members to continue in my aim for the best personal service!
