Hi Perry! Tell us about your business.

We are a brickwork subcontractor providing services to domestic clients including general builders, property developers, primary contractors, and private clients. We can build anything from substructure walls, external and internal load-bearing walls, extensions, new build houses and apartments using bricks, blocks, and stone, in addition to driveways, patios, and steps.

What drove you to start the business?

The inspiration behind starting my business was being able to create and control my own personal economy where I’m not greatly affected by world events in addition to earning more money and having a flexible work schedule.

What particular challenges did you have to overcome in setting up your business, and since then?

Learning to estimate and quote for jobs, finding suitable subcontractors, learning industry regulations, and wearing all the different hats such as sales, marketing and accounting.
