One of our Bookkeepers, Joshua Kilic, explains his role and a typical day here at The Accountancy Partnership.

Give an overview of the duties, functions, and responsibilities of your job.

My job is to enter transactions for our bookkeeping clients. I also help clients with their bookkeeping queries.

What is a typical working day like for you?

A typical day would be working on Pandle support (we offer a free live chat service) and completing the bookkeeping for clients.

What particular challenges do you regularly encounter?

The main challenge I face is helping clients understand any issues in their bookkeeping, as well as just solving them. We can be more useful that way.

What are some of the biggest challenges faced by your clients?

Covid has been a big issue for everyone, pushing people out of their normal routine. It’s had a big impact for our clients.

What is your favourite part of the job?

I like helping clients with any issues they might have. It is a great feeling when we can take their stress away.

What do you like most about working for The Accountancy Partnership?

It is a good working atmosphere. This is a very busy job at times, but The Accountancy Partnership helps you through, there’s a great team spirit.

Where’s your favourite place to visit on days off?

Prenton Park is the place I spend most of my free time, enjoying football with friends

What are you reading/binge watching at the moment?

I am currently binging Peaky Blinders in preparation for the new season.
