This month we spoke to Hannah about her role as Admin Junior at The Accountancy Partnership!
Hey – I’m an Admin Junior.
Answer client queries over the phone or via email, process authorisation codes and data on the system, process post we receive for the accounts or on the client’s behalf, contacting HMRC and previous accountants.
A lot of scanning post, answering calls, and discussing client queries with colleagues to find the best solution.
Being able to multitask is a big part of my role. Answering calls whilst completing other tasks efficiently and not losing track.
The main query from clients I deal with comes from the number of codes and reference numbers we request during the onboarding process.
Clear communication skills that I have developed help me to advise the clients through the onboarding process. I can explain to them each piece of information we require and what this is used for.
Catching up with my colleagues and the new challenges each day brings, I feel like I learn something new every day.
I like feeling like part of a team. Everyone is always there to support each other.
Being able to multitask is the main skill I use every day. Keeping track of where I am with a variety of different tasks is the key to making sure I keep on top of everything.
My parents’ house back home in the Yorkshire Dales. Having moved away for university, I don’t get to see them as much as I would like, and I love the nature that is in the surrounding areas.
My proudest achievement is the photography work I made for the exhibition at the end of my degree.

I have just finished the Formula 1: Drive to Survive series on Netflix.
My Dad, he has always done everything he can to support me and my mum and never asked for anything in return.
