We talk to Jack Whitehead about his role here at The Accountancy Partnership.

Give an overview of the duties, functions, and responsibilities of your job.

I transcribe statements of various accounts into Pandle, categorising them and applying VAT when necessary in order to make usable, accurate and manipulable data for the accountants at The Accountancy Partnership.

How are you able to use your skills to solve problems?

I have an analytical toolset which aids in spotting and identifying patterns. It’s this ability which gives me the aptitude to fix problems early, on an intuitive basis.

Where’s your favourite place to visit on days off?

Leasowe beach! A wildly overlooked area on the Wirral peninsula.

Tell us about your proudest achievement.

Achieving a BSc in Physics and Astronomy at the University of Sheffield.

How would your colleagues describe you?

Kieran would describe me as an almost-constant nagging sensation in his left ear.

What are you reading/binge watching at the moment?

Old (pre 2000s) Top Gear episodes on YouTube. (Don’t ask).

Who do you admire, and why?

My friends – they’re cool.

What question would you really like to answer, and what’s the answer?!

“What would you do if you didn’t win this Grammy?”
