I am a Client Experience Coordinator and part of the Client Experience team. We are here to further support clients with any aspects that we can be of assistance with.
As part of the Client Experience team we look at customer service across the company. We will support clients if they have any additional queries and signpost them to the relevant department. Sometimes we also help out with some of our admin team’s tasks such as sending out reminders and calling clients. We also complete courtesy calls to our clients at different points of their journey to see how they are getting on and if there is anything that we can do to help.
I come in and check my emails and catch up with my team. I will check for any calls that I need to complete that day and then start to check in with my clients that I am regularly in touch with.
Our role is very varied so each day is completely different to the next which I really enjoy.
Communication barriers are something that I regularly come across and that’s where I can help by liaising with the wider team and to ensure that our clients access the support that they need.
Starting a business or getting started with a new accountant can be overwhelming at first, getting all the information and codes we need to fully set up their account with us, so we do have quite a few calls to help navigate through all this information.
Too much information at the start of their journey, especially if it is a new business. It must feel like there is so much to do and lots of information to process, and this is where we can help. These are my favourite queries as it’s really nice to get to know someone at the start of their journey with TAP.
I am a good communicator and quite like being organised which helps in this role as it means I am able to multitask with ease.
Speaking to clients. It’s nice to hear what they have been up to during the week and how their business is doing and of course, being part of the Client Experience team. We all get on really well and everyone is really supportive of each other.
I really like the open plan office, the views are really nice, and it’s also nice to be able to speak in person to different departments. My previous roles have all been mostly management roles within an office on my own and so there wasn’t much regular adult interaction on a peer level.
Being an effective communicator helps as a lot of my job is talking to people, supporting them and connecting them to the wider team here at TAP.
I spend a lot of time with my family, we are all really close so you can normally find me at one of their houses, if not at my own having a cup of tea and a good chat. If I am not there, I am usually in my garden. I love growing my own vegetables and tending to my garden with my husband and daughter.
It has to be my daughter. She was born in lockdown and it was definitely a different experience than some of my friends had. However it was a really positive experience for me and helped to make my family that much stronger.
Hopefully fun, I am normally the first person to fall over or drop something so I hope I bring some entertainment to their day!
I really love binge watching crime dramas but I also love Grey’s Anatomy, so they are my go to when I get some downtime.
My parents, they have given me the best start in life and have and always will be a huge influence on the person that I have become.
How do we know if people all see the same colours? Is my yellow the same as your yellow? I think we see them all differently? At least different shades of the same colour but who knows!
