Give an overview of the duties, functions and responsibilities of your job.
My job involves helping clients over the phone and by email, requesting and accepting agent authorisation on behalf of our clients, and various other tasks and checks.
What is a typical working day like for you?
A typical day involves answering phones and emails, sending post to clients, processing codes with HMRC, calling new clients for onboarding and assigning clients to accountants.
What is your favourite part of the job?
The people I work with. I have made genuine friendships here and I love coming to work to see everyone.
What do you like most about working for The Accountancy Partnership?
We get staff nights out organised for us… and free smoothies!
What skills do you find most useful to do your job?
Communication skills are very important in my job role. Being able to advise clients correctly and reassure them.
Where’s your favourite place to visit on days off?
I love staying at home most the time, but I can be convinced to go out to play pool or go bowling.
Tell us about your proudest achievement.
My proudest achievement would probably be going to university and getting my Criminology degree.
How would your colleagues describe you?
My colleagues would describe me as funny and a bit quirky apparently.
What are you reading/binge watching at the moment?
I have been re-reading the Harry Potter books for nostalgia, and I’ve been watching Arcane, Squid Game and The Artful Dodger.
Who do you admire, and why?
My mum! She is the strongest person I know.
What question would you really like to answer, and what’s the answer?!
If my voice was a colour, what colour would it be? – probably green.
