Give an overview of the duties, functions, and responsibilities of your job.

My job includes assisting clients with any questions or queries, assisting the accountants with booking in accounts, and completing any daily checks that are required. I also help file forms for people registering with our services.

What is a typical working day like for you?

On a typical day I help register numerous people onto our system who have signed up with us, and I help to book everything in for people to get their accounts completed. I help answer general questions and queries and offer support where possible. I reply to all my emails in a timely manner to ensure we are giving our clients the best service we can.

What are some of the biggest challenges faced by your clients?

In my opinion, our clients’ biggest challenge is keeping up with everything they need to do for compliance, especially when starting out. We spend time to ensure we get all the information we require to assist with their accounts and help them reach their full potential.

How are you able to use your skills to solve problems for them?

I am able to reassure clients. We also provide onboarding calls for clients, once signed up, to speak to the admin team and go through any queries they have with this, and they have their initial consultation with their dedicated accountant.

What is your favourite part of the job?

My favourite part of the job is helping people who need our help, and advising clients on situations that may confuse them as I am able to help them to understand this.

What do you like most about working for The Accountancy Partnership?

I enjoying working in a very close team and having a laugh together.

What skills do you find most useful to do your job?

I find for my job the most useful skill is keeping organised and having a set routine, as this helps you keep on track and plan your days precisely so you are able to maintain a good and stress free environment.

Where’s your favourite place to visit on days off?

On my days off I spend my time with my horse (Prince). I enjoy spending time and bonding with him, and helping him improve in so many ways.

Tell us about your proudest achievement.

My proudest achievement is definitely buying my horse. I always dreamed of having a horse and never thought I’d be in the position to buy one myself, and I am grateful I have been able to bring this into my world.

How would your colleagues describe you?

My colleagues would describe me as definitely a workaholic.

What are you reading/binge watching at the moment?

At the minute, I am binge watching 911 on Disney Plus.

Who do you admire, and why?

I admire my mum, she has always been my rock and pushed me forward to be my best.
