Give an overview of the duties, functions and responsibilities of your job.
Answering emails, processing codes, answering the phones and scanning post to send to clients.
What is a typical working day like for you?
I always make a coffee as soon as I get in! I then start my morning by answering my emails. Depending on the day, I will be on either morning or afternoon phones. This involves either assisting clients with admin queries or passing them through to their accountant.
After lunch, I usually complete my weekly chases, such as invoice chases. I will also scan and send any post that clients have received.
What are some of the biggest challenges faced by your clients?
There are many different codes which we require from HMRC and Companies House. This can sometimes be confusing for clients when sending them across to us.
How are you able to use your skills to solve problems for them?
I think being understanding and knowledgeable is important. I need to explain things thoroughly to clients to avoid any confusion.
What is your favourite part of the job?
The people! Everyone is so friendly and supportive.
What do you like most about working for The Accountancy Partnership?
The environment, especially when my colleagues bring their dogs to the office!
Where’s your favourite place to visit on days off?
On my days off I like to go for a coffee and a walk.
Tell us about your proudest achievement.

What question would you really like to answer, and what’s the answer?!
