Give an overview of the duties, functions, and responsibilities of your job.

Completing bookkeeping for our clients. This includes entering transactions, invoices, and reconciling banks accounts. I also help clients with any bookkeeping queries they may have, and provide support with the Pandle software.

What is a typical working day like for you?

I will review what tasks need to be completed in the morning and crack on with the bookkeeping for the remainder of the day. I also help out with Pandle support throughout the day.

What particular challenges do you regularly encounter?

Ensuring the correct records have been received and everything has been accounted for within the bookkeeping. I’m also working towards my AAT qualification and learning a lot of new things, so that can be challenging, but rewarding.

What do you like most about working for The Accountancy Partnership?

I enjoy the friendly atmosphere, and I have met some people who are equally as strange as me, so that’s a bonus.

What skills do you find most useful to do your job?

I would say I’m good at talking to all different kinds of people, especially over the phone. I find that a pretty useful skill to have.

Where’s your favourite place to visit on days off?

I love going hiking, there’s so many amazing places in the UK I’m yet to see! I also love spending time with my beautiful Cockapoo Ellie, and of course going to the pub for a drink or ten.

Tell us about your proudest achievement.

I started learning to play the drums at the end of 2021, and I’m really happy with how far I’ve come in a short space of time. It’s something I look forward to each week.

How would your colleagues describe you?

I’m not too sure I want to ask them! I’m almost certain they’d say I’m a bit odd, but hopefully friendly too.

What are you reading/binge watching at the moment?

Absolutely nothing to be honest! I go to watch something and end up scrolling TikTok instead… I spend a lot of time walking round the house listening to music!

Who do you admire, and why?

My Granny had the most amazing outlook on life, so it has to be her. Also, my best friend Jade. I admire the fact she loves the pub as much as I do.

What question would you really like to answer, and what’s the answer?!

Q: If I could be anywhere in the world right now, where would I be? A: America, to spend time with my family and watch my gorgeous Nephew grow up.
