What is a typical working day like for you?

Contacting and quoting potential clients who have enquired about our services.

What particular challenges do you regularly encounter?

We learn a lot of information about accounting in sales, but often clients assume that we are accountants during the sales consultation call and ask us for tax efficiency advice which we are not qualified to provide.

What are some of the biggest challenges faced by your clients?

Many potential clients are wary about using a digital accountancy service because they like to be able to meet their accountant. However, many high street accountants charge for their time whereas we offer unlimited access to their accountant at no extra cost. So the main challenge is breaking through the fear of the unknown by understanding more about how we work.

How are you able to use your skills to solve problems for them?

My ability to speak to people from different backgrounds and discuss how we can help them with their business. I have also previously worked as a sole trader, which gives me a good understanding of the issues our clients may face.

What is your favourite part of the job?

When new clients sign up!

What do you like most about working for The Accountancy Partnership?

What skills do you find most useful to do your job?

My ability to communicate allows me to identify client needs quickly and provide them with the required information.

Anywhere sunny and warm.
