Read what our clients say about us
Callum from The Accountancy Partnership recently filed my year-end accounts and made the whole process really straightforward. Callum was excellent throughout - clear, helpful and efficient, and he made everything feel simple from start to finish. A very smooth experience and I’d happily recommend him to anyone looking for reliable accountancy support.
Ben Chetham
As a first-year sole trader, I was a little unsure about the accounting side of things, but James has been incredibly helpful throughout the whole process. He is very knowledgeable, patient, and took the time to guide me through everything, making it much less stressful than I expected.
Hayley Crean
Kieran McCann provided outstanding support in helping me file my corporation tax return within an extremely tight timeframe. The last-minute situation was entirely my own fault, but Kieran remained calm, professional, and incredibly responsive throughout the process. Thanks to his efficiency and dedication, we managed to meet the deadline and avoid what would likely have been a fine. He was always responsible, supportive, and available whenever I needed guidance.

Read Staff SpotlightAre you a brand new eBay seller? Get 40% off for 3 months.
Between working out what a tax identification number is, to setting up a separate business bank account, managing inventory, recording VAT and beyond, we know online sellers already have a lot to think about.
To ease the pressure and help your finances whilst you’re starting out we offer 40% off our accountancy services for 3 months to new businesses.
What structure will you use for your eBay business?
Becoming an eBay seller means you can use the platform to run your business, but you’ll also need to register your business with HMRC so you can report your earnings and pay tax on the profits. For a lot of businesses this means operating as either a sole trader or a limited company, but there are other alternatives too, so it all depends on your own personal circumstances.
Our team know it can feel overwhelming! We’ll talk you through everything you need to know, helping you choose the best fit for your needs. You can reach us using live chat or by phoning 020 3355 4047. If you form a limited company we’ll even register you with Companies House, and guide you through the process of registering everyone involved, saving you up to £120!
Transferring from another accountant
Moving to a new accountant shouldn’t ever be stressful! We’ll take care of the entire process for you, making sure you have the right support in place from the very beginning, without any interruptions.
We’ll start by contacting your previous provider to transfer everything we need – a process known as professional clearance – and liaise with HMRC so they know we’re acting for you. So you can focus on getting to know you new accountant!
Additional accounting services for eBay sellers
Every business is unique, so the type of accounting support you need can change as you evolve and grow. Rather than bundling services together, these are available separately for low monthly fees whenever you’re ready.
VAT Returns
Complete VAT management from registration and tax efficiency, to making VAT submissions.
Bookkeeping
Bookkeeping support tailored to your eBay business by your own dedicated bookkeeper.
Payroll
Fully managed payroll, auto-enrolment, and workplace pensions support for employers.
MTD IT Updates
Quarterly MTD Income Tax updates prepared and sent by your dedicated accountant.

All our accountancy service packages include the essentials necessary for your business structure, so your accounts, tax return, and unlimited support from your own dedicated accountant are all included as standard. You’ll also have Pandle Pro bookkeeping software, along with Client Hub to manage your account.
We include Pandle Pro for all our clients, but we will work with you on any bookkeeping system you like!
No, eBay will report any earnings you make on the platform to HMRC, but you’ll still need to submit a tax return and pay what you owe separately.
There won’t be an announcement if you decide to start an eBay sidehustle, but it’s possible someone could identify your seller profile depending on what sort of information is visible. If you operate as a limited company then your business details will be publicly available on the Companies House register for anyone to search.
