Hey Nik! Tell us about your business

ITFixio is a proactive IT support and technology solutions provider dedicated to helping businesses stay secure, productive, and stress-free when it comes to their technology. We work with small to medium-sized organisations, delivering reliable managed IT support, cybersecurity solutions, cloud services, and strategic IT consultancy tailored to each client’s needs.

Our approach is built around prevention rather than cure. We focus on monitoring, maintaining, and strengthening our clients’ systems to minimise downtime, protect against cyber threats, and ensure business continuity. By acting as a trusted technology partner rather than just a helpdesk, we give business owners the confidence that their IT infrastructure is robust, scalable, and aligned with their long-term goals.

At the heart of ITFixio is a commitment to clear communication, fast response times, and genuine relationships. We pride ourselves on translating complex technical issues into plain English and delivering solutions that make a real difference to our clients’ day-to-day operations. Our mission is simple: to remove the frustration from IT and empower businesses to grow with technology that just works.

What drove you to start your business?

I started ITFixio after spending years working in the IT support industry and seeing first-hand where businesses were being let down. In previous roles, I worked with a wide range of organisations and kept noticing the same issues: slow response times, reactive “fix-it-when-it-breaks” models, overly technical jargon, and a lack of genuine partnership. Too often, clients felt like just another ticket in a queue rather than a valued customer.

From speaking directly with business owners, it was clear their needs weren’t being fully met. They didn’t just want someone to fix problems, they wanted proactive support, clear communication, honest advice, and technology that actually supported their growth. They wanted to understand what they were paying for and feel confident that their IT provider truly had their best interests at heart.

I founded ITFixio to close that gap. My goal was to create a business built on responsiveness, transparency, and long-term relationships, not just quick fixes. I wanted to deliver proactive, partnership-led IT support that removes frustration, strengthens security, and gives businesses the confidence to focus on what they do best.

What particular challenges did you have to overcome in setting up your business, and since then?

One of the biggest challenges in the first months of running ITFixio has been building trust from scratch. Without an established brand, I’ve had to demonstrate credibility and reliability from day one, especially in an industry where businesses are trusting someone with their systems, data, and security.

In these early stages, I’ve been wearing many hats, handling technical support, sales, operations, and strategy, while making sure the high service standards I set are met. This has required strong organization, focus, and a lot of hard work.

As ITFixio continues to grow, the focus is on scaling carefully without losing the personal, proactive approach that makes us stand out. Our priority is to expand in a way that maintains quality, responsiveness, and strong client relationships.

Was there a problem or issue you were looking for an accountancy to resolve?

Yes, as a new business, one of the key challenges I faced was managing the financial side efficiently while ensuring compliance and accuracy from the start. I was looking for an accountant to help set up proper accounting systems, handle bookkeeping, and provide guidance on tax and regulatory requirements. Having expert support allows me to focus on growing ITFixio while knowing the financial side is well-managed and reliable.
