The Accountancy Partnership was founded back in 2006 and we continue to grow year-on-year, making us one of the fastest growing accountancy firms in the UK. We currently represent over 7,000 businesses from all over the UK and beyond.

Our clients are typically owner-managed businesses and micro businesses. As we offer our online accountancy services nationwide this has resulted in a very diverse client portfolio. Our goal is to help these small to medium sized businesses succeed by providing a friendly, comprehensive and affordable accountancy service.

We currently employ around 30 members of staff and have developed various software products including our own cloud accounting software; Pandle.

Sales Representative

Job Description

Due to continued success we are now seeking a motivated and ambitious Sales Representative to help further the company’s growth. Some experience in accounting/finance is preferable but all candidates will be considered.

The role involves:

  • Answering inbound sales calls, emails and live chats
  • Occasional meetings with potential clients in our offices
  • Attending occasional trade shows
  • Contacting new users of their cloud accounting software, Pandle
  • Contacting potential partners

Senior Accountant

Job Description

A full time, permanent Senior Accountant is required to join our team in Central London.

The role involves:

  • Completion of accounts and tax returns for mainly limited companies, but sole traders and partnerships also
  • A minimal amount of bookkeeping
  • VAT returns
  • Managing a set portfolio of clients from a wide variety of industries
  • Client meetings and correspondence
  • No payroll, sales or admin work is required as this is handled by other departments within the company

The candidate must:

  • Be highly organised and good at managing their own work load
  • Be reliable and a good decision maker
  • Be productive with a common sense approach to his/her work
  • Be competent with technology, as the role involves the a variety of accounting software products
  • Have at least 3 years’ experience in practice and preferably hold one of the following qualifications, ACCA, FCCA, ACA, FCA, AAT, IFA (part qualified and qualified by experience may be considered)

Semi-Senior/Junior

We are currently looking for new trainees to gain experience within our company with the view for progression into an apprenticeship with the AAT. Being an ACCA approved employer we offer our trainees a clear path to progress onto studying ACCA and becoming a fully qualified accountants.

The role involves:

  • Mainly gaining bookkeeping experience to begin with and over time will escalate onto accounts preparation, completion of tax returns, VAT returns, CIS returns and payroll.

The candidate must:

  • Have extremely good organisational skills
  • Possess a strong work ethic and desire to get the job done
  • Produce high quality work with attention to detail
  • Be about to study (or part way through) AAT

This is great opportunity to gain experience with us. Many of our current Senior Accountants joined us as Semi-Senior/Junior Accountants and progressed onto more senior roles as the company has expanded.
