How do I pay tax for self-employed work?
As a sole trader, there’s no employer to take care of your income tax and NI for you, so you’ll need to register your business and pay tax on the profits that you make above the tax thresholds.

How much tax will I pay?
The amount of tax that you pay depends on how much you earn, and how you earn it. For sole traders, this might be just self-employed income, or a combination of that and from working for an employer.
