We talk to Lena Cunningham about her role as a Junior Marketing Executive at The Accountancy Partnership.

Give an overview of the duties, functions, and responsibilities of your job.

As my background is in graphic design, I am here to focus more on developing the imagery for all our marketing material. This can be anything from design elements for our websites, to artwork for our articles, social media posts, video tutorials, and printed marketing material.

How are you able to use your skills to solve problems?

I think being creative is useful in this line of work, and it certainly helps to solve problems. My teammates are all really creative, so when we put our minds together we come up with some awesome stuff.

Where’s your favourite place to visit on days off?

I enjoy a spot of retail therapy in the likes of Liverpool One and Cheshire Oaks. If the weather is nice, I like to visit beaches for relaxing walks and to look for sea glass.

Tell us about your proudest achievement.

I was proud to have my illustrative works showcased in my local art gallery – seeing members of the public view and enjoy my artwork was a really great experience.

How would your colleagues describe you?

Friendly, creative, nerdy.

What are you reading/binge watching at the moment?

Currently I am trying to make my way through well-known classic novels as I feel you have to try them at least once. I’ve just finished Frankenstein and now I’m reading The Picture of Dorian Gray which is rather deep and thought-provoking. Can’t knock the classics.

Who do you admire, and why?

My nan. She’s an absolute legend.

What question would you really like to answer, and what’s the answer?!

Q: When is a door not a door?

A: When it’s ajar 🙂
