If you commit to taking on an apprentice, you have a responsibility to provide training and useful experience. Don’t be one of those businesses who dumps lots of responsibility on an apprentice without giving them proper training. Both parties end up very disappointed.

Those who do this never take full advantage of all the benefits that apprentices have to offer. Do your research and ensure you have enough time to give your new apprentice so they can learn the ropes, and become a valuable part of your business.
