Working from home can be great. However, it can also lead you down the Dark Path of Distraction, ruining your routine and making your less productive. One of the worst offenders has to be the Other People Living in Your House.

Finally, beware the distraction that comes armed with a smile. Phrases such as “I just wondered how you were getting on!”and “I was only going to ask if you wanted a cup of tea/ anything from the shop,” can make you feel guilty (especially when delivered in a hurt tone of voice).

Be strong! Make it clear you appreciate their concern, but it’s up to you to sort out refreshments and chores around your work hours, just as you would if you were employed by someone else, and that you’ll stop when it’s the best time for you.
