We know what it means to be successful business.
The Accountancy Partnership works with over a 1,000 freelancers, start-ups and small businesses. Our experienced accountants are veterans of the calculator, and have seen it all when it comes to finance and business. So, we’d like to think we know what’s what when it comes to building up a business from scratch.
There are so many pitfalls to avoid and hurdles to jump when it comes to forming a company, that every start-up is entitled to a little advice and support. Here are our three essential steps to creating a successful
business.
Finance is a vital part of business and if you’re clueless, your SME will go down within the first month. We’ve all seen the pitches on Dragon’s Den where it’s looking so hopeful until they say, ‘We don’t actually have those numbers’. Nope. That kind of attitude won’t fly with Deborah Meaden, nor with the rest of the business sector.
Gaining a committed work team isn’t just hiring people and giving them lots of money to work for you. Small moves such as making your employees feel valued with feedback and encouragement will make them proud to work for your company, and more likely to produce good ideas and present them to you.
There are so many different marketing strategies it would take pages to list them all. The one thing to remember when appealing to your audience however, is to be unique. Not one person will want to see the marketing schemes declared at them over and over. Be unique, engaging and interesting to get the best and most loyal customers.
