This month we spoke to Layla from sustainable fibre company, Qing Fibre.

What’s your name and your role in the company?

My name is Layla, and I’m the director of Qing Fibre.

Tell us about your business

We are a bunch of crafters who hand dye fibres. Our process is a sustainable one, using eco-friendly dyes.

What drove you to start the business?

We love to encourage people to take time looking after themselves. We all need to slow down and connect with ourselves by doing slow fashion craft.

Why did you choose The Accountancy Partnership?

They’re reliable, quick to respond and very friendly.

Would you recommend The Accountancy Partnership?

Yes definitely.

What do you have planned for your business in the future?

I always admire crafting spirit thought it might be the opposite of the fast paced lifestyle in the city. But we all need to treat ourselves better and find inner calm, to balance life and work and to live an enjoyable life. I would love to introduce more craft that everyone can simply learn and use by developing more products; either kits for people to try, or products that are ready to sell, inspired by traditional craft and modern craft.
