“Business In You” is a newly launched national campaign which will offer support and encouragement to the millions of people who have dreamed of starting their own business. The new initiative was launched in Leeds by the Department of Business, Innovation and Skills.

The government will collaborate with the private sector to offer support to new businesses that are eager for growth, while budding entrepreneurs will be encouraged to turn their dreams into reality.

Nine UK business owners who have achieved high levels of success have been selected to partner the campaign to offer inspiration for new business owners and entrepreneurs. The co-founder of Moonfruit, Wendy Tan-White and the head of Moo, Richard Moross are just two of the nine businesses chosen to team up with the national campaign, “Business In You”. Face to face sessions, online seminars, video tutorials and workshops will be offered.

At the launch of the initiative, David Cameron announced that the government would do all it possibly could to support new businesses during 2012. He also pledged to make 2012 the year that business dreams will come true. Real life studies of the businesses which have teamed up with the campaign will be used to publicise the initiative. As is still in the early stages of growth, it has been chosen to lead the marketing campaign. It is hoped that the campaign will be influential for at least one million people during the next three years. The co-founder of Moonfruit said that the initiative would support UK small businesses to trade on a larger scale.
