With March almost over, spring is nearly upon us, and what better way to celebrate than with some relaxing music to ease yourself in to summer.

This month’s Client of the Month is singer/songwriter Roiael, who has been credited with “the kind of voice that immediately captivates”, making “no-frills music that seeps beneath the skin”.

Tell us a bit about your music!

It’s usually melancholy, but hopefully in the sense that it would relieve someone from sadness after a good cry. I hope people would feel less alone in how they feel when they listen and share the experience.

It feels like a friend talking to another close friend when I sing, even to a stranger.

What music are you inspired by?

I’m not so much inspired by music as I am Love. I think the essence of Love unifies us all together and music is the medium in which I hope to use to channel it, so Love inspires me.

What are you listening to at the moment?

I don’t actually listen to music much anymore. As of when I started writing music I didn’t want to be influenced by any outside melodies of such, I wanted everything to be authentically from within me. If music is on around me it’s usually gospel or the tracks that producers send me or chill lo-fi my brother plays.

I like music that makes me feel something deep down and has a lasting impact in my life as a whole, which I find hard to find these days sadly, so I choose not to listen to what’s happening.

What have been your biggest obstacles to overcome so far? And which have been the most rewarding once you’ve achieved them?

Definitely just fear itself and learning to get out of my comfort zone. I’ve been blessed with so many different opportunities and I’m grateful to God for them so it’s just learning to jump and learning to trust my inner intuition. And learning to enjoy the process not endure it.

Life is so fragile so I want to appreciate every moment.

My biggest accomplishment has definitely been reading and seeing the impact the music has had in people’s lives and how it has helped them. That’s always been the goal so that’s been really fulfilling

What plans do you have for the future?

We have so many exciting things coming up, we’re broadening the Roiael brand into different markets other than music – the skies not the limit as we see it.

The future holds so many possibilities, I’m planning to release my first album and a worldwide tour is in the books but for now each day is a blessing and each coming day I’m grateful for, because I can continue to do what I love.
